Yoga
Therapeutic Yoga at CS Wellspring transcends the modern fitness context in which yoga is so often placed. Drawing from the classical Krishnamacharya lineage, our certified Yoga therapists design individualised therapeutic sequences that actively support your clinical healing programme and cultivate the deep inner stillness that is the foundation of lasting health.

Therapeutic Yoga
Every Yoga session at CS Wellspring begins with a careful assessment of your current physical capacity, any clinical contraindications, and your therapeutic goals. This assessment informs the design of your personal practice — which may include asana (posture), pranayama (breathwork), bandha (energy locks), mudra (therapeutic gestures) and pratyahara (sensory withdrawal).
Pranayama — The Science of Breath
At CS Wellspring, Pranayama is taught not as a supplement to physical practice but as a profound therapeutic discipline in its own right. Scientific research has demonstrated measurable effects of structured breathwork on autonomic nervous system balance, cortisol levels, immune function and even pain perception.

Yoga Nidra — Conscious Deep Rest
Yoga Nidra — the practice of yogic sleep — is a systematic guided relaxation that brings the practitioner to the threshold state between waking and sleep, where profound physical and psychological restoration occurs. Research has shown that a single 45-minute session of Yoga Nidra can produce physiological rest equivalent to several hours of sleep.
