The Founding Vision

A Vision Rooted in Purpose

CS Wellspring – Clinical Wellness Retreat was born from a long-held vision of Dr. R. Chandrashekar, who always aspired to create a space in Tamil Nadu dedicated to authentic, traditional, and result-oriented alternate medicine.

His journey began with the successful establishment of CS Grand in Dharmapuri, which further strengthened his commitment to holistic wellness. Driven by curiosity and purpose, he travelled extensively across India and abroad, visiting renowned wellness retreats to understand global best practices. These experiences inspired him to bring a world-class clinical wellness destination to his home state — one that blends traditional healing with structured, outcome-focused care.

The search for the perfect location led him to the serene banks of the Palar River in Nallathur Village, just a few kilometres from the Bay of Bengal along the scenic East Coast Road. Surrounded by nature and free from urban pollution, the setting perfectly aligned with his vision.

It was here that he partnered with Mr. Arun Nair, a well-known hospitality and wellness project consultant, and Founder & CEO of Intervista Hospitality. Together, they shaped CS Wellspring into a thoughtfully designed clinical wellness retreat — combining medical expertise, authentic therapies, and strategic hospitality planning — to create one of India's most promising destinations for holistic healing, right in the heart of Tamil Nadu.
